This is Kenneth Branagh as hamlet.
Gibson plays hamlet upbeat and not a mope bland charcter. Gibson diflects seriousness with a joke and makes the movie good. He dose the best till he is overwhelmed with it all. The cast is distinguished with characters who have played hamlet them selves. The move has strenght and appeal and will stand out. He is not overawed and did not take his role too solemnly and lugubriously. It is a very strong performance. A very good movie
Superstitions
- The number 13 is considered to be unlucky and is some times completley skipped in the sequence such as building floors or sports numbers.
- It is said that if two people breaking a wishbone the person with the larger half gets there wish.
When something hasnt happend to you and your talking about it or when your are talking about bad luck it is believed that knocking on wood keeps it from happening. It is also said when talking about good luck it can help bring it.
Assignment 6
The story takes place in a small town in a foreign country. The girl who plays violin is characterized as one who cant play music. The girl who plays the pianno is a bully to the other girl because she is deaf and puts her down. The deaf girl wants to be like others so she can hear. The older deaf man is a symbol that you can do any thing if you set your mind to it, there is a way to learn. The Protagonist is the deaf girl and the antagonist is the girl who plays the piano and bullys the other girl. The irony is that the old man and the girl are deaf and they are playing music the is really good and they are only trusting there movements. The climax when the little girl finds that the old guy is deaf also and he pushes her to play violin because she dosent have to be like the others to do what she loves. The theme is that you can accomplish anythin is you really try your hardest.
Assignment 4
The lyre bird is an amazing animal. The fact that it has the ability to make all the differet sounds that other birds make is really cool. Plus it uses this as its mating call proving that he is talented to the female birds. The fact that it is abele to make sounds of chain saws and car alarms and such proves that the society is moving closer to the forests and such and that we are around them so much clearing them out that the bird has heard it enough to coppy the sound of it. It is an amazing tallent that would be cool to be able almost identicaly repeat sounds we hear.
Eat or not- assignment 2
Media has had a significant impact on the non-eating-disorders of men and women, middle aged and young. the media protrays people on tv as perfect. These skinny people lead othe people to think that they cant eat to becom. this way. In men and women both they want these perfect bodies and they are damaging there bodies to get there by not eating. this is not how the world should look they should not want to look that way it is gross. Not eating is the cause of death in many people trying to get that skinny or perfect shape as some say. The media needs not be protraying them that way.
Racial Identification-3
6 out of 20, that is the number of people i identified right. That right there sums up how most and i classify people by the way they look. The way we classify people is the way we see others of a certin race. The way there hair looks, the color of there skin, the way there eyes are, the facial hair they have, are all general stereotypes of the race of people. This is becoming a bad thing because people are getting put into racial groups that they are not part of. This can upset people because they are proud of there race and represnt it and no one knows it because we judge by what the looks of similar people and what there race. Some people think i dont do much or get out much because i am so quiet, allthough when im around my friends im am more open and like to have a goo time.
